Rent or Buy: Travel Edition

Are you headed out of town for a wedding and need to wear a suit? Look no further than Suits Unlimited. We are your one stop shop when it comes to looking great for any occasion that needs a suit.

Scenario

You don't wear suits too often and you just got invited to an out of town wedding. Since you don't wear a suit that much, you may considering renting one, just for the outing. After booking your travel arrangements, you realize that you might be gone for nearly 7 days! Yikes, that may incur additional rental charges.

Breakdown of Renting

A suit rental starts at $149 here at our store, this includes:

• Black/Grey Coat

• Black/Grey Pant

• Whit Dress Shirt

• Black/Grey Vest

• A necktie in various color options

Shoes rent for $30 and a pocket square (or handkerchief) is for $10.

A rental period for the $149 price point is 5 days. The day you pick it up, wearing it the following day, and returning it the following day or one more day after. Think Thursday pick up and Monday return.

If you are going to be gone more than that time frame, then the rental price jumps to time and a half. This means $149 plus $74.50, which comes out to $223.50.

Breakdown of Purchasing

You may think okay, $223.50 isn't so bad for a rental, however, many suits at our store are only $249. A suit comes with the coat and pant only. However, if you are they type of person that has a pair of dress shoes and a dress shirt at home, then you suddenly have an outfit that you don't have to worry about returning.

The Choice

The choice is up to you. But if you think about how often an occasion that comes up for a suit in your life, having a starter or basic one in the closet is not a bad way to go.
